Sexual violence occurs way too often, and UAlbany is no exception to that. I’ve been lucky to avoid it, but I’ve heard enough, seen enough, and come close enough. It’s not always clear where to turn to in such a situation. 

The intention here was not to get a story out of someone’s trauma, but rather looking to provide some help for those who may need it. Additionally, I wanted to point out the injustices I’ve witnessed myself while acknowledging the complexities of sharing such personal moments.
